Darren Bent reacts to news Tottenham have agreed Bissouma fee
Darren Bent has taken to Twitter to react to the news that Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a fee for Yves Bissouma, with The Times reporting that the Brighton star is set to become Spurs’ third signing of the window.
Antonio Conte’s overhaul continues at some speed. They have already brought in Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic on free transfers. And their next addition appears to be on the way.
Tottenham have agreed a £25 million fee for Bissouma. And he will reportedly undergo a medical this week. He leaves the Seagulls ahead of the final year of his contract.
It is a real statement of intent from Tottenham. Bissouma has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League over the last few years.
The Times notes that Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa are amongst the clubs who have considered a move for Bissouma over the last 12 months.
Bissouma himself, seemed to hint that he was ready to join Arsenal. He recently shared a Gunners supporters’ Instagram post saying that he needed to be signed at all costs.
But he is now Tottenham-bound. And Bent has suggested that it is a fantastic piece of business from Spurs…
@SpursOfficial are not messing about under Conte, said for a while I’m a massive fan of yves Bissouma. Great signing for them

Tottenham agreed Bissouma fee
If Bissouma realises his potential, he could prove to be an amazing signing at £25 million. His contract situation and other potential issues may complicate matters. But there is no doubt that he has the quality to be a huge player for Conte.
Tottenham already boast an incredibly strong midfield. Adding Bissouma into the mix will certainly see Spurs’ ranks improve further.
