The Athletic reports that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to sign another attacker this summer, but only if Bryan Gil leaves the club.
The 21-year-old completed a switch to North London from Sevilla last summer for a fee worth £21 million (Sky Sports). But the youngster has struggled to break into the Tottenham team since.
The Spanish winger was sent to Valencia on loan for the second-half of last season and enjoyed a successful spell there.
And if Gil heads back to Los Che once again, it seems that Spurs will move for a replacement.

Tottenham expected to sign another attacker
The Athletic reports that Gil is now close to rejoining Valencia this summer.
And if the deal goes through, it is expected that Spurs will move to bring in another attacker before the window shuts.
Antonio Conte has already added Richarlison to his attacking options this summer. And the former Everton striker has made a decent impact on the team so far, despite the fact he’s yet to start a game under the Italian.
Conte has a wealth of attacking options to choose from this season. But the Spurs boss seems intent on building a competitive squad where his players will have to fight for a place in his side.

Tottenham have enjoyed an impressive transfer window so far but it seems that a creative midfielder would be the icing on the cake for Conte.
And if Gil does leave for Valencia, it’s possible that Spurs could target a creative attacker.
Reports suggested that the club were interested in Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo, but talks over a deal for the player seem to have stalled.
But Spurs could look to target Zaniolo or an alternative attacking option if Gil completes a move back to La Liga next week.
