Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil is could leave the club very soon, with a move to Valencia on loan being negotiated.

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, the 21-year-old could be about to spend a second spell on loan at the Mestalla as he searches for more first team minutes.

“Bryan Gil to Valencia, hot. The end is pushing to return to the Mestalla. Tottenham, now, much more open to letting him out NOW. The negotiation between the clubs, almost unlocked. Sources confirm that it can be closed in a couple of days.”

Conte has been very positive about Gil in pre-season, and suggested that his involvement at Tottenham is an upgrade on the squad he had last season.

“In our squad, I am very happy because I repeat compared to last season we improve our squad with Richi up front, but don’t forget we lost Bergwijn.

“Then Gil last season went on loan and now he is in the squad in this 20 players.”

Gil could leave Tottenham on loan soon

Gil has been in both of Conte’s Premier League matchday squads this season, but hasn’t been brought off the bench of either occasion.

His first six months at Tottenham last season were difficult, with a change of management and elimination from the Europa Conference League limiting his opportunities, after a £21m move from Sevilla.

A loan spell with Valencia was negotiated on deadline day in January, and had a successful spell in La Liga.

In fact, Valencia’s fans at the end of last season were asking Gil to stay, and it looks like they may get their wish.

The youngster has plenty of time to make an impact at Tottenham in his career, and the impression he’s made in training this summer has reportedly convinced Conte not to sell him.

However, the more minutes Gil can play at this age the better, and another loan move to a club that already trust him, and a fanbase that already support him, will do him a world of good.
