Tottenham and West Ham are reportedly among the clubs that want to try sign Lazio forward Joaquin Correa this summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Spurs and West Ham are both keen on the 26-year-old.

Reportedly, Lazio will be prepared to sell the Argentina international during this transfer window. But, they value him €40million (£34million).

It is understood that right now English clubs are only wiling to pay around €20million (£17million). However, Lazio hope their star impresses enough in this summer’s Copa America competition with Argentina to perhaps raise his reputation.

Gazzetta dello Sport also names Arsenal as a potential suitor.

Previously, as relayed by The Boot Room, Solo Lo Lazio claimed that both Arsenal and Everton had started talks about a potential deal for Correa.

Tottenham, West Ham join race for impressive Joaquin Correa

Correa, 26, is now attracting a wave of interest from the Premier League.

He’s a versatile attacker that can play as a leading striker or a number 10 position just behind.

The speedster finished the most recent domestic season with 11 goals and six assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.

He has enjoyed success with Lazio in Italy, along with Sevilla in Spain, so it would be interesting to see if he fancies trying to replicate that in England.

Fortunately, Lazio may view all the interest in Correa as a more realistic shot of their price tag being met.
