Tottenham Hotspur target Nicolo Zaniolo is prepared to consider offers from elsewhere if Roma do not sign off his new contract by the end of January, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Zaniolo’s future is an issue that Roma cannot put off much longer. He is out of contract with the Giallorossi at the end of next season.

He is attracting interest from elsewhere. Journalist Ciro Venetaro recently suggested that Arsenal want the 23-year-old. Meanwhile, Antonio Conte dreams of having Zaniolo in his Tottenham side alongside Harry Kane, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Zaniolo wants contract situation resolved
In fact, Tuttomercatoweb is now suggesting that Tottenham lead the race to sign Zaniolo.

And it seems that Zaniolo may be losing patience with Roma as they look to tie him down to a new deal.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, terms worth around £67,000-a-week have been agreed in principle. However, the deal still needs to be signed off by the club’s owners.
Should that not be sorted by the end of January, Zaniolo is prepared to consider offers from elsewhere. And obviously, with one year remaining on his contract, Roma may end up somewhat powerless to stop him leaving.
It is ominous for the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham that Zaniolo appears to have a deal in principle in place. That hints that his preference is to stay in the Italian capital.
It would certainly appear that he has little intention of considering any move away in January.
Both Tottenham and Arsenal will look to make new signings in January. The Gunners will have their sights set on picking up where they left off before the World Cup.
Spurs meanwhile, need to improve considerably. However, they are still in the top-four and they are through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. So there is still an opportunity there.
Zaniolo is an ‘incredible‘ talent. So they will both want to monitor what happens in the next two months.
