Report: Spurs could bid for Dusan Vlahovic...even if Harry Kane stays put
Spurs are willing to spend over £50m on Fiorentina striker, Dusan Vlahovic, and the future of Harry Kane will make no difference whatsoever.
That’s according to Alfredo Pedulla, who claim that Tottenham want to sign Vlahovic, regardless of whether Harry Kane stays at the club or not.
Kane’s future remains up in the air a bit. Reports today have suggested that the club are in talks with Manchester City over a deal worth in excess of £120m.
Vlahovic, though, is firmly on the radar of Spurs and their new transfer guru, Fabio Paratici. And Pedulla now claim that Paratici is preparing a bid in excess of £50m for the striker, who scored 21 goals in Serie A last term.
The likes of Atletico Madrid are also keeping tabs on the striker. However, Spurs’ offer is said to be more than the the Spanish giants are prepared to pay in one sum at this moment in time.
Vlahovic is highly-rated across Europe. Former Fiorentina man Daniel Bertoni has already compared him to Erling Haaland, citing a fee of £100m as not being out of the question.
Spurs trying to convince Kane with Vlahovic?
You have to say fair play to Fabio Paratici really. He is trying to get people in the door, and if that helps Harry Kane stay put, then it’s a huge bonus.
Vlahovic is certainly someone who ticks so many boxes for Tottenham. He brings goals, he’s a good age, and he’s not that expensive in terms of top strikers in Europe.
If Paratici can land Vlahovic here, then Spurs fans start dreaming about the top four once again.
