Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make a bid for Dusan Vlahovic soon, the Daily Express claim.
Bid incoming
Tottenham are pushing to sign the Fiorentina striker now, after failing to land Lautaro Martinez.
Spurs are keen to add to their forward line this summer, as they see Vlahovic as an ideal partner for Harry Kane.
Atletico Madrid have stolen a march on them, as they have made an initial offer of £45 million for the Serbian.
However, Vlahovic is now moving up Tottenham’s wishlist and a bid is expected to be incoming very soon.
Tottenham’s bid is set to be one of their highest in the club’s history.
However, this could still turn out to be a bargain, if Fiorentina legend Daniel Bertoni is correct.
He said that Vlahovic could be worth ‘£100 million’ in the future, given his level of ability.
“Vlahovic, like Haaland, is a £100 million striker. This year will be (his) time to explode,” he claimed to Firenze Viola.
Best in the world?

Fabrizio Romano said yesterday, to the Last Word on Spurs, that Tottenham director Fabio Paratici views Vlahovic as a striker who will become one of the best in the world.
The links, therefore, should be treated as extremely exciting for Spurs fans.
Vlahovic smashed in 21 goals in Seria A last term, and if he could repeat that sort of feat at Tottenham, then Nuno’s side would surely be in for a strong campaign – given the firepower already at the North London club.
