Nottingham Forest could make a move for Atalanta defender Hans Hateboer before the transfer window closes.
Steve Cooper’s side have already been linked with Tottenham Hotspur’s Sergio Reguilon, with the left-back no longer in Antonio Conte’s plans.

However, Hateboer is a right-sided defender, and could be brought in alongside the Spaniard.
The 28-year-old made headlines in Italy this week after a horror challenge on AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, but the Dutchman got away with a yellow card.
Forest could make a move for Hateboer
It’s been an incredibly busy window for Nottingham Forest so far, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down as deadline day approaches.
Forest have already strengthened their right-hand side, beating Fulham to the signing of Neco Williams from Liverpool.
The Welsh international has started all three league games for Forest, and looked comfortable playing for his new side.
He has already picked up two bookings in that time, as has Hateboer in one less game, and discipline could be an issue if they’re both being used in that system.

The Dutchman is currently first-choice at right wing-back for the Italian side, so it may be difficult to convince Atalanta to sell him.
Atalanta play very attacking, high tempo football, and Hateboer spent more time in the opposition’s half than his own last season.
If he does join Forest, he’s likely going to need to be slightly more disciplined, with the newly promoted side required to be more wary of the strength of some of the attacking talent they could come up against.
However, spending money hasn’t been a problem for Forest so far this summer, and if Hateboer is Steve Cooper’s man, there’s a good chance he’ll get him.
Forest are still looking to bring in a central defender as well, with Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga an option they’re currently exploring.
