Sergio Reguilon could get the chance to stay in the Premier League this summer, with the Daily Mail reporting that Nottingham Forest want the Tottenham Hotspur left-back.
Forest are not looking to bring an end to their squad overhaul just yet. Of course, Steve Cooper’s men have brought in a raft of signings. But it seems that they are not done.

Forest signed both Omar Richards and Harry Toffolo for the left of the back five. However, Richards is currently sidelined. And with that, they are now eyeing a loan move for Reguilon.
Reguilon will surely leave Spurs before the transfer deadline. He is yet to play a single minute in the Premier League this season. And with Ivan Perisic joining Tottenham, it does appear that he will not be involved at all should he not secure a move.

But the Daily Mail does report that Forest are eyeing a loan move for the 25-year-old. They face competition from the likes of Lazio and Villarreal. The latter want the £27 million Spain international as a replacement for Pervis Estupinan.
Nottingham Forest want Reguilon
Reguilon needs minutes ahead of the World Cup. But he will also want to be playing at the highest level possible. Both Lazio and Villarreal look set to be involved in European competition this term.
But Forest could be on the cusp of something exciting. There are concerns over how all of their new signings will gel. But the early signs are reasonably promising after a win against West Ham and a draw with Everton.
It would be a coup for Forest. Reguilon is a ‘brilliant‘ player. And it is arguably a surprise that someone has not snapped him up already.
