Newcastle United are enjoying a fantastic start to the Premier League season right now.
Their 4-0 win over Aston Villa at the weekend cemented their place in the top four as the World Cup approaches.
Eddie Howe’s side doesn’t appear to need too many reinforcements, with weak points in the side very difficult to identify.

One of the players Newcastle are reportedly preparing a move for is Brighton winger Leandro Trossard.
Trossard has been in fine form for the Seagulls this season, and already has seven league goals to his name.
His hat-trick against Liverpool this season was particularly memorable, as was his goal against former manager Graham Potter’s Chelsea team at the weekend.
Trossard’s current contract runs out in 2024, and Roberto de Zerbi has spoken about wanting to extend it.
However, Newcastle now sense an opportunity to sign the Belgian and preparing a move for the winger.
It’s not the first time Newcastle have been linked with Trossard, after 90Min suggested they were looking into a move.
Newcastle preparing Trossard move
The Northern Echo believe that Trossard is currently valued at £30m, which seems like a reasonable fee for a player currently at his peak.
Trossard is Brighton’s top scorer this season and will almost certainly be part of Roberto Martinez’s World Cup squad.
Eddie Howe’s first choice wingers right now are Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin.
Almiron is enjoying the best spell of his Newcastle career and is in unstoppable form.

Saint-Maxmin is one of the league’s most exciting players on his day.
The Frenchman has unfortunately been seriously hampered by injuries in his time at St. James’ Park.
The ‘special’ winger would provide an upgrade on Newcastle’s current back-up options.
Newcastle preparing a move for Trossard appears to be the next step on their sensible rebuild under Howe.
