There could be plenty of activity at Tottenham Hotspur in the upcoming January transfer window.

Antonio Conte will never stop looking for ways to improve his squad as they look to stay in the top four.

There could also be some outgoings as well, and Estadio Deportivo have been reporting on one of them.

Conte wants to bring in another attacker to provide cover and competition for Dejan Kulusevski.

He’s already struggled to fit all four of his best forwards into the same line-up, but knows what happen when injuries add up.

However, there are also a couple of attackers who could leave the club shortly.

Lucas Moura could be on his way out of the club, with Bolavip suggesting Spurs are happy to take a loss on the Brazilian.

Another player who looks likely to leave in January is Bryan Gil.

Super Deporte believe that Tottenham will let Gil leave on loan if a replacement is signed.

Estadio Deportivo agree, and report that Sevilla manager Jorge Sampaoli is a big fan of Gil.

Sampaoli was Sevilla manager when Gil was coming through the academy, and called him up to the first-team when he was just a teenager.

The report suggests that Sevilla aren’t currently interested in signing Gil, but have been monitoring him closely.

They believe Sampaoli is looking for an ‘electric, fast, dribbling footballer’, and Gil fits that description.

The Argentine then suggested that if he was Sevilla manager when they sold Gil, he would never have been allowed to leave.

Instead, Spurs signed Gil for £21.5m last summer, with Erik Lamela going the other way.

It’s a good sign for Gil that Sampaoli is such a big fan of his, and shows that his reputation hasn’t been too affected by his lack of minutes.

Gil will be hoping that he can secure an important loan move away from Spurs in January.

His lack of game time will be starting to affect his development, and his confidence might have been knocked too by the lack of faith shown by Conte.
