Juventus want Lucas Torreira, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting that they are monitoring Arsenal midfielder’s future amid doubts over his situation at Fiorentina.
In a surprise turn of events, Torreira looks set to leave Florence this summer. He had been a regular fixture for La Viola this past season. And they had the option to make his move from the Emirates permanent for just £12.7 million.

However, Fiorentina do not want to pay that amount for the Uruguayan. And with that, he could end up returning to Arsenal for the final year of his contract.
Obviously, it is hard to see Torreira playing for Arsenal again. He was out of favour under Mikel Arteta before his departure. And the Gunners will want to raise as much money in player sales as possible during this window.

Interestingly, Juventus are considering stepping in should Fiorentina pass up the chance to sign Torreira permanently, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Of course, Juve have already been linked with one Arsenal player this summer. Reports claimed that the Old Lady are very keen to sign Gabriel Magalhaes in this window.
You would imagine that Arsenal would not be particularly open to the idea of discussing Gabriel’s future. But they would indeed welcome the chance to send Torreira to Turin.
Juventus want Lucas Torreira
Arsenal want a Juventus player this summer. They have been linked with Arthur. And Edu reportedly agreed a deal for the Brazilian in January before the Gunners hierarchy decided against a move.
Juventus may have been hoping that they could use Arthur to sign Gabriel. But Arsenal should certainly see if there is scope for a deal that involves Torreira instead.
Torreira can be a ‘fantastic‘ player. And news of Juventus’ interest could be a real boost for Arsenal.
