Report: Fabio Paratici may now offer Tottenham Hotspur 21-year-old to Juventus to get money off Dejan Kulusevski

Tottenham Hotspur director of football Fabio Paratici could offer Bryan Gil as part of the deal to make Dejan Kulusevski’s move permanent.

That’s according to CalcioMercato, who report that Gil does not fit into Antonio Conte’s plans.

Kulusevski has arguably been Antonio Conte’s best signing since arriving in north London.

CalcioMercato believe Spurs paid an initial £8.7m loan fee, and need to spend another £30.5m to make the move permanent.

However, the report suggests that Gil, who they believe is worth £13m, could become part of the Kulusevski deal.

Gil was keen to leave Spurs in the summer to go back to Valencia on loan.

However, the move was blocked by Conte who didn’t want his squad to be left too thin on the ground.

Since then, Gil has spent the majority of his time on the bench, and has only played 19 minutes of football in all competitions.

A report from Football London suggests that Gil is likely to leave the club in January.

The decision then comes to whether Juventus are interested in the young Spaniard, and how highly they value him.

Gil could become part of Kulusevski deal

Spurs fans may be sad to see Gil leave on a permanent deal without the 21-year-old given the chance to fulfil his potential.

Conte has always suggested that he’s too lightweight to make an impact in the Premier League yet.

However, technically he’s an excellent player and was very popular on loan at Valencia this season.

It’s no coincidence Tottenham’s worst form this season has coincided with his injury lay-off.

Conte shared after their defeat to Newcastle that he wasn’t close to a return either.

Gil becoming part of the Kulusevski deal after arriving on a part-exchange for Erik Lamela would sum up his Spurs career perfectly.

There will be some Tottenham fans that hope he stays at the club and is allowed time to develop before being sold.
