The report suggests that it will take ‘an important offer’ to convince Napoli to sell Elmas, however Everton still have a couple of weeks left in the transfer window to negotiate a deal.
The North Macedonian joined Napoli in 2019 for £14m back in 2019, but has struggled to break into the starting line-up, mainly being used as an impact player off the bench in that time.

Described by his international manager Igor Angelovski as someone who ‘will become one of the best players in the world’, Elmas now needs more consistent game time to fulfil that potential.
Elmas’ standing the Napoli squad is set to suffer even further, with Gianluca Di Marzio’s reporting that Giacomo Raspadori is set to arrive in Naples, with both players favouring a role behind the striker.
Everton set sights on Elmas
If Everton are able to negotiate a deal with Napoli to sign Elmas, it could be a fantastic opportunity for the Toffees.
At just 22, Elmas still has plenty of time ahead of him to improve further, but is already an important figure for his national side, playing every minute of North Macedonia’s Euro 2020 campaign.
He’s a strong creative player with a tendency to pick up the ball, progress it quickly before trying to play a killer pass.

He’s adept at finding pockets of space, but may not contribute hugely in front of goal, he’s only scored 10 times in his career, and that would explain why Everton are also still looking for a striker.
Elmas could fill the spot left in the Everton squad by the imminent departure of Dele Alli, who’s time at Goodison Park appears to be over.
