Barcelona have offered Arsenal the chance to sign Ousmane Dembele as they look to finalise a loan deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to The Independent.
Barca are edging closer to signing the striker for the rest of the season. However, it would appear that a move could be in the balance should the Catalan giants fail to offload Dembele on deadline day.

It was hoped that he would join Paris Saint-Germain. However, The Independent reports that that move has now collapsed. And with that, Arsenal have been asked whether they want Dembele.
It is suggested that it may be too late for the Gunners to agree a deal for the Frenchman. But clearly, Mikel Arteta will surely be tempted to explore all options that lead to Aubameyang leaving the club this month.

Previous links suggest Dembele joining Arsenal is still possible on deadline day
It is a twist that Dembele remains available. However, it is not the first time Arsenal have been linked with a move in this window.
In fact, it was previously reported that intermediaries working on a deal involving Aubameyang and Barcelona had suggested a swap.
Meanwhile, it was subsequently reported that Arsenal made contact with Dembele when it became clear that he was planning to leave the Nou Camp.
Obviously, agreeing terms may still be a real stumbling block at this stage. But Dembele would be a hugely exciting signing. He has previously been labelled a ‘wonderful‘ talent by Don Hutchison.
And if it proves to be the difference between Aubameyang staying or going, Arsenal have to consider signing Dembele.
