Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly called Joel Ideho up to first-team training this week.
This is according to All Nigeria Soccer, who claim the Gunners boss wanted to run the rule over the talented winger.
Ideho joined Arsenal last year from Ajax’s famed academy, initially linking up with the Gunners Under-18s.

He did superbly for the U18s, with five goals and three assists from just 17 appearances at that level.
Ideho earned promotion to the Under-23s this summer and has a goal and an assist to his name at this level, which includes EFL Trophy games.
He picked up rave reviews for his well-taken goal in the 2-1 defeat to Swindon in the EFL Trophy last week.
And now, with the Premier League trip to Burnley on the horizon, Arteta reportedly called the 18-year-old to train with the first team.
Last year, Ideho told All Nigeria Soccer that he idolises Wilfried Zaha, claiming his game is inspired by the Crystal Palace and Ivory Coast ace.

While it’s unlikely that Ideho is in line for a senior matchday squad spot just yet given the competition, it’s great to see Arteta reportedly take an interest in him.
Hale End has already given the senior team the likes of Bukayo Saka, Folarin Balogun and Emile Smith Rowe in recent years.
And with Charlie Patino, Marcelo Flores, Omari Hutchinson, Kido Taylor-Hart and many more coming through the ranks, the future’s bright at Arsenal.
