Arsenal may have no intention of listening to offers for Gabriel Magalhaes, but Sport reports that the defender has made it clear that he would have no hesitation about making the move if Barcelona made a bid.
Gabriel’s future has become a talking point over the last couple of days. Reports on Tuesday claimed that Barca wanted the Brazilian as they look to sign a new left-sided centre-back.

It was then suggested, in Spain, that Arsenal would accept just £33.3 million for the 24-year-old. That however, was said to be too high a price for the Catalan giants.
That asking price, in all honesty, seemed baffling. So it was no real surprise when it was then reported that Arsenal actually have no interest in listening to offers for Gabriel this summer.

In fact, some at the club view him as a contender for the captaincy, according to Football London.
But, heading back to Spain, it would now appear that Gabriel may not be best pleased with Arsenal’s stance.
According to the latest report from Sport, Gabriel has made it clear that he would not hesitate to move if Barcelona made a bid. It is claimed that it is a dream of his to play for Xavi’s men.
Arsenal will suggest onus is now on Barcelona to make offer for Gabriel Gunners simply cannot refuse
Some will question just how keen Gabriel is to leave. He is a prominent fixture in the Arsenal side. And he could reportedly be a contender for the captaincy. Mikel Arteta has previously said that he has an ‘incredible future‘.
He may well dream of playing for Barca. But even if he does, Arsenal can now argue to the defender that the onus is simply on Barcelona to make the kind of offer the Gunners cannot refuse.
If they are that desperate to sign him, they will be prepared to break the bank. And if that happens, Arsenal can perhaps grant him his reported wish and let him go.
