Arsenal have no intention of considering any offers for Gabriel, with the centre-back at the top of the wishlist for Barcelona this summer, according to a report from Football London.
There has certainly been plenty of speculation surrounding Gabriel at the start of this week. Reports on Tuesday claimed that Barca want the Brazilian as they look for a left-sided defender this summer.

It was suggested that his name had come up in conversation as Arsenal look at potential swap deals this summer. And subsequent reports claimed that the Gunners valued the 24-year-old at £33.3 million.
In truth, that asking price always seemed baffling. Gabriel has been excellent for the large majority of the season alongside Ben White. So you would imagine that they would want considerably more.

And Football London has now provided a further update. They suggest that Arsenal actually have no intention of selling Gabriel this summer. They note that Barca do indeed view the former Lille star as a top target.
Football London adds that many at Arsenal view Gabriel as a potential replacement for Alexandre Lacazette as captain should the Frenchman leave in the summer.
Arsenal selling Gabriel would have been worrying move from Gunners
Arsenal have suffered a couple of disappointing results. And it now looks a lot less likely that they will be playing in the Champions League next year.
However, there is absolutely no doubt that Arsenal are moving in the right direction. Few would have backed them to finish near the top-four when they went into the first international break bottom of the table.
They are building an incredibly talented side. And they have the potential to improve considerably in the years to come.
So selling Gabriel would have been a worrying move. Arteta has said that he has an ‘incredible‘ future ahead.
Arsenal know how important it is that he stays put.
