Report: Ancelotti tells Real Madrid he wants 23-year-old Arsenal target amid Gunners bid rumours

Arsenal may have to see off competition from Real Madrid if they hope to sign Ben White, with Defensa Central reporting that Carlo Ancelotti has made the defender a potential target.

The Gunners’ summer window looks to be kicking into full gear. They are reportedly in talks to sign Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Meanwhile, they have also been linked with Aaron Ramsdale this week. But perhaps the biggest statement of intent came in their pursuit of White.

According to The Telegraph, Arsenal have had a £40 million bid for the Brighton star rejected.

However, that report suggested that talks are expected to continue.

But Arsenal’s hopes may have been dealt a further blow after seeing their offer knocked back.

According to Defensa Central, Ancelotti is a fan of White. And he has added the 23-year-old to Los Blancos’ wishlist.

They do suggest that his asking price may prove a problem for Real.
