Report: 24-year-old Tottenham target is now set to follow Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich
Tottenham Hotspur target Sasa Kalajdzic is set to join Bayern Munich, along with Liverpool forward Sadio Mane.
Football Transfers claim that Spurs were among the clubs interested in signing the 24-year-old from Stuttgart during the transfer window.
The report says that the striker is set to make the move to the Bundesliga champions for a fee around €25 million (£21.5 million).
That would likely have been affordable for Tottenham, as they continue their search for a striker to offer cover and competition for Harry Kane.

But towering frontman Kalajdzic is a central striker and a target man, who can only play through the middle.
It seems Antonio Conte is keener to add a versatile frontman in the style of Richarlison or Gabriel Jesus.
The benefit of that is that those players can play upfront in place of Kane, but also in wide areas in the same team as the England captain.
Bayern are looking to replace their own talismanic striker in Robert Lewandowski, who seems to have no future at the club.
It was recently reported that the agent of Kalajdzic was in London last week, amid Tottenham’s interest, but it does not seem like he was there to discuss a move to the club.
Tottenham have been cracking on with their transfer business this summer, with a desire from the player and club to make Djed Spence their next signing.
Spurs’ search for a new forward continue and seems likelier to send them in a different direction than a pure central striker, as it stands.
