Dan Burn has said that Newcastle United teammate Bruno Guimaraes is ‘world-class’ at moving the ball.
Burn was speaking to TalkSPORT (11/10 9:42am) about a host of Newcastle-related topics.
The 30-year-old was talking about how impressed he’s been with the Brazilian midfielder.
Guimaraes has arrived at Newcastle and taken Eddie Howe’s side to the next level.

He stole the headlines with his brace against Brentford.
However, Guimaraes offers a lot more than just goals in Newcastle’s team.
Roy Keane has lauded Guimaraes and says he can effects games in a way that only good players do.
The stats would back this up, and Guimaraes is one of Europe’s best midfielders for creating chances, dribbling, pressure and tackling, as per FBRef.
Burn: Guimaraes is ‘world-class’
Speaking to Ally McCoist and Stuart Pearce on TalkSPORT, Burn said: “I think Bruno’s one of those rare players that has just got that class.
You just give him the ball anywhere and just the way he moves his body and moves the ball, it’s really world-class.”
Guimaraes has been linked with moves away from Newcastle already given his impressive performances.
The Daily Mail have reported that Manchester City are interested in the brilliant Brazilian.
However, Guimaraes has insisted he wants ‘to be a legend’ at St. James’ Park.

The project Eddie Howe is building at Newcastle is certainly an exciting one.
It relies on players like Guimaraes buying into what they’re doing on a long-term basis and not using the club as a stepping stone.
As Burn says, Guimaraes might be the first genuinely ‘world-class’ player to thrive at Newcastle for some time.
Building a team around the 24-year-old should now be the priority for Howe.
He could deliver the success that Newcastle fans have been craving for years.
