Raheem Sterling isn’t part of Chelsea’s plans moving forward, and he has now been told what to do if he wants to get out of the club.
Chelsea signed Sterling for £50million in 2022 from Manchester City, and he’s played 81 games for the Blues since then.
However, from the moment Enzo Maresca took charge of the club, it was clear that Sterling wasn’t in his plans, which is why he spent last season on loan at Arsenal.
After failing to find a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge during the summer, Sterling has now been relegated to the ‘bomb’ squad. Maresca has confirmed there’s no way back for him at Chelsea.
Sterling has been training away from the first team, including sessions at 8 p.m., and he has now been advised on how to get out of the situation.

Raheem Sterling told to ‘cut’ his wages to leave Chelsea
Sterling is under contract at Chelsea until 2027, which is problematic for the 30-year-old if he’s unable to secure a deal away from the club.
However, Danny Murphy explained on talkSPORT that Sterling may have to accept that a wage cut is in his future if he desperately wants to get back playing.
“If you want to get out badly enough and play football, you generally find a way. If that means you have to cut your wages a bit, then you have to cut them.
“You can look at it both ways, because I’ve had brief times where I’ve been training away from the squad, and it is tough. But, let’s put it into perspective to real life.
“I stayed pretty focused just for myself really, not thinking I’d be back in the squad, but keeping myself as fit as I could because I knew that chapter would come to an end.
“Those lads will hopefully have opportunities in January, so they’ve got to do it for themselves.”
Raheem Sterling wants to remain in London
One of the biggest sticking points for his future is location, as TBR Football revealed that Sterling wants to remain in London.
That lowers his options when it comes to possible teams for him to play for, and Crystal Palace, Fulham, and West Ham United expressed interest in him in the summer.
Whether Sterling will have another opportunity in January remains to be seen, but the winger still has plenty to offer the sport if he can get back to playing regularly.
Sterling might not be training with the first team right now, but he is working behind the scenes to ensure that he remains fit if a move occurs.
