TBR Football understand there is a good chance of Raheem Sterling joining either West Ham or Crystal Palace before the 7pm transfer deadline – with Fulham also in the mix.

The England international is still yet to find a new club with just hours until the window closes, and is not in the plans of Enzo Maresca at Chelsea.

Raheem Sterling is keen to stay in London due to the fact his son – Thiago – plays for the Arsenal U9 side, and TBR Football now understand a move to Crystal Palace or West Ham is likely.

Exclusive: Raheem Sterling update as 7pm transfer deadline looms

Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent for TBR Football – has been told by sources close to the £50m man that his chances of moving to another Premier League club in London today are high.

As aforesaid, Fulham are still in the mix, but the Cottagers have agreed a £22m deal to sign Tyrique George from Chelsea, and remain in talks over deals for Samuel Chukwueze and Kevin.

Harry Wilson has been granted permission to join Leeds to make space in the attacking department.

TBR Football revealed earlier this summer that Sterling is open to joining Crystal Palace as he aims to stay in London, while West Ham have also been offered the chance to sign the 30-year-old.

Crystal Palace sources also confirm they have beaten Wolves to the signing of Christantus Uche from Getafe.

Reiss Nelson rejects Crystal Palace and Fulham

TBR Football understand Crystal Palace were also in talks to sign Reiss Nelson from Arsenal, as were Fulham.

However, the Arsenal academy graduate has rejected both the Eagles and the Cottagers in favour of Brentford, where he has now agreed a contract.

Crystal Palace and Fulham had initially told Sterling they would be pursuing other targets, but a late deal cannot be ruled out.
