Tottenham Hotspur have been told they’ve made an amazing signing by bringing in James Maddison this summer.
Speaking on The 2 Robbies Podcast, Robbie Mustoe was discussing Tottenham’s summer business.
Ange Postecoglou has very much been concentrating on incomings this summer.
Tottenham’s squad needed improvement after a poor campaign last year.
Missing out on European competition altogether was a big blow, but hasn’t stopped Spurs from bringing in some of their key targets.
This week, Micky Van de Ven and Alejo Veliz arrived at the club, with the former expected to start alongside Cristian Romero in defence during the upcoming campaign.

However, Robbie Mustoe wanted to highlight what an amazing signing James Maddison was going to be for Tottenham.
Spurs paid £40m for the 26-year-old who will be key to how Postecoglou plays this season.
He brings some much-needed creativity to the side that hasn’t been missing since Christian Eriksen left the club.
Tottenham told Maddison is an amazing signing
Speaking about Tottenham’s attacking options, Mustoe said: “I just look at the line-up and I know what I’m going to get from Harry Kane.
“I know what I’m going to get from [Kulusevski], who maybe had a drop off last year but is a good footballer.
“I know pretty much Heung-min Son in a team that wants the ball for a change and is proactive in trying to attack, I know what he can do.
“I absolutely love the signing of James Maddison, I think he’s going to have an outstanding season.
“Brilliant, brilliant footballer, technical quality is amazing.”

Postecoglou was impressed with Maddison against Shakhtar and decided to leave the playmaker at home yesterday when they faced Barcelona.
Spurs couldn’t risk losing Maddison to injury on the eve of the start of the Premier League.
Maddison has already shown in pre-season that he could be an amazing player for Tottenham.
His partnership with Harry Kane could propel Spurs up the table, so long as they can begin to keep clean sheets.
It also relies on Kane not leaving this summer, which currently hangs in the balance.
