Ange Postecoglou has now revealed that Fraser Forster suffered a significant injury at Tottenham.
The 58-year-old made the comments when sharing team news with Tottenham’s official X (previously known as Twitter) account earlier on Friday.
So, what did Ange Postecoglou say about Tottenham No.20 Fraser Forster? Let’s take a look…
What Ange Postecoglou said about Fraser Forster
Well, the England international has not actually played in the Premier League this season due to the stunning performances of Guglielmo Vicario.
Despite that, Forster has still earned the respect of his teammates, with Brennan Johnson even calling the 35-year-old an “unbelievable” player.
Postecoglou has echoed that, describing the Englishman as an “elite” trainer at Hotspur Way.
Now – however – Forster has sadly suffered a serious injury to his foot.
Postecoglou said: “The big one is Fraser Forster picked up a knock in training and a fracture in his foot. He’s longer term, a couple of months (out) for him.”

The £77,000-a-week glovesman has made just one appearance this season, which came in the Carabao Cup defeat to Fulham back in August.
Tottenham must look after Guglielmo Vicario
While he is not exactly one of the first names on the teamsheet, news of Forster suffering a fractured foot is far from ideal – and means Spurs must cover Vicario in bubblewrap.
If the Italian were to also pick up a knock, Postecoglou would be left with Brandon Austin – a goalkeeper who has never actually made a senior appearance for Tottenham, despite appearing on the bench in the Premier League at times this season.

Of course, the 25-year-old could surprise people if he is called upon at some point, although Spurs will not want to be fielding an untested glovesman amid a push for UEFA Champions League qualification.
Hopefully, all goes well with Forster’s recovery, and he can return to action soon.
