Arsenal midfielder Jorginho was coaching his teammates from the touchline against Unai Emery’s Aston Villa at Villa Park.
That is according to two well-known journalists, both of whom have made the observation on X.
So, what has been reported about Arsenal midfielder Jorginho? Let’s take a look.
Jorginho was coaching Arsenal players vs Aston Villa
Well, Arsenal lost 1-0 to Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Scotland international midfielder John McGinn scored the only goal of the match. It came in the seventh minute.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was not in the dugout for the match. He was suspended and was in the stands.
According to The London Evening Standard journalist Simon Collings and The Daily Telegraph reporter Sam Dean, Jorginho was giving out orders and making tactical decisions on the touchline, not any of the coaching staff.

Jorginho did not start the match for Arsenal. The £12 million (Sky Sports) Italian midfielder was an unused substitute.
The former Chelsea midfielder has made four starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners this season.
Jorginho has scored one goal in two starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League this campaign.
Arsenal have to bounce back
Arsenal will be disappointed to have lost to Aston Villa this weekend. After all, the Gunners have the better team.
Of course, we know that Villa are doing well under former Arsenal manager Unai Emery. They are now very much in the running for the Premier League top four.
However, you would still expect Arsenal to at least pick up a point against Villa even away from home.
The Gunners conceded three goals against Luton Town away from home as well this month.
Arsenal need to do better defensively and have to tighten up things at the back.
