'Please', 'Paratici effect': Some Spurs fans react as top-flight club eye their £80k-a-week midfielder
It looks set to be a summer of huge change at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Fabio Paratici’s arrival has been announced. And Paulo Fonseca looks set to not be too far behind.
The fans will be hoping to see the playing squad improved. But to do that, it looks likely that the club will have to move some of the current side on.
And one of those who may be offered the chance to move is Sissoko. According to Sky Italy, Napoli have made the 31-year-old a target.
It has previously been suggested that he is one of the players who may be available in this window.
Sissoko had silenced a lot of his doubters after an incredibly difficult start to life with Spurs. However, the fans have been fairly emphatic in their response to the reports.
‘Thank you Napoli’: Spurs fans react to Sissoko transfer reports
Many see it as the right time to move the £80,000-a-week midfielder on. Unfortunately, he was not too impressive this past season.
And several of the supporters clearly think that it would be best for all parties if Sissoko secured a move. They are not quite sure why Napoli have their eye on him, however.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans have reacted to the links…
