Bruno Lage has seemingly left the door open for Adama Traore to leave Wolves during the January transfer window in comments that may well alert the Tottenham Hotspur hierarchy – as reported by The Telegraph.
Adama Traore has been linked with a move to Spurs for some time. And it appears that speculation has ramped up in the last few weeks. In fact, it was suggested that talks over a move had already started.

Adama looks to be a target for the right wing-back role for Antonio Conte. There had been suggestions that Tottenham were open to offering Matt Doherty to Wolves as part of their bid for the £20 million-rated Spain international.
Adama is a divisive player. He clearly has a remarkable amount of potential. Pep Guardiola once labelled the winger ‘incredible‘ after coming up against the 25-year-old.

However, he is also a player without a goal or assist in the Premier League this season. And he was hardly prolific last year either.
Nevertheless, Tottenham are chasing Adama Traore. And Lage has not shut down the idea of the former Barcelona man leaving when asked about his future.
“I know nothing about it, but what is the most important thing in the world of football? It has to be good for the club and good for the player. I’m happy with my forwards. But you never know,” he said, as reported by The Telegraph.
Plenty of Wolves fans will welcome Tottenham signing Adama Traore
Lage’s comments certainly hint that Wolves may not dig their heels in over Adama Traore. If Tottenham make a suitable offer, he may be able to go.
And in truth, some Wolves fans will likely welcome his departure. His deal at Molineux expires at the end of next season. So his value is unlikely to increase any further.
Of course, it is a gamble to let him go. If Conte can get the best out of him, he could be amazing for Tottenham. But Lage seems to be open-minded about what the coming weeks may hold for Adama Traore.
