Report: Tottenham make their move to sign player Jack Grealish says is absolutely 'unbelievable'

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks with Wolves to sign their speedy winger, Adama Traore, in what could be a £20m deal in January.

According to The Telegraph, Spurs transfer supremo, Fabio Paratici, has opened talks with Traore and Wolves about concluding a deal this month. It is believed Wolves would accept as little as £20m for the pacey Spanish star, who is yet to sign fresh terms at Molineux.

Traore, 25, has yet to register a goal or assist this season. However, he is apparently viewed as the ideal wing-back in Antonio Conte’s system. At the moment, summer signing Emerson Royal is struggling to make a huge impact.

Reports earlier in the week had claimed that Tottenham might even offer Mat Doherty back to Wolves as part of any deal to sign Traore. However, The Telegraph’s report suggests a straight cash deal.

DIVOCK ORIGI DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

Traore is well known for his speed and power. Despite the stat sheets not being full, he is appreciated for those attributes and can, on his day, run defences ragged. Indeed, Jurgen Klopp termed Traore as ‘undefendable’ after Liverpool played Wolves back in March.

TBR’s View: Adama Traore To Finally End Up At Tottenham?

It’s looking that way now. It seems like Fabio Paratici has upped his efforts in the market and will now finally get his hands on Traore.

In fairness, the Wolves man should be a good fit for Spurs. Speed, power, and potential which a top manager like Conte might well be able to unlock. Certainly, all the tools are there when it comes to Adama. Indeed, Jack Grealish is among those who have been left blown away by Traore before.

Furthermore, £20m is a huge bargain. This is a player who was being touted at over £60m at one point. Landing him at a less than a third of the price, is a massive deal for Spurs and Conte.
