'No respect': Tottenham player reacts to teammates actions regarding Kane
Tanguy Ndombele uploaded a video on his Instagram story of Jack Clarke wearing Harry Kane’s ‘no 10’ Nike flip flops after training and claimed the Tottenham youngster had ‘no respect’ for the striker.
It won’t be long now, but Kane is due to return to Tottenham training next week, after being handed an extended break following his Euro 2020 commitments.
And whilst he soaks up the sun for one last time, one of the club’s youngsters has opted to wear his flip flops following an open training session at Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium on Saturday.
Ndombele posted a small video of Clarke sitting in the dressing room with Kane’s footwear on in his absence.
He could be heard saying in the video: “Hey H, no respect, added with laughter. “No respect. You leave and no respect.”
It was clearly visible that Clarke was wearing sliders, with Kane’s shirt number – ten – marked on the front.
Well, Spurs fans will be hoping that Kane is wearing those flip flops when he returns for pre-season training because it would mean him staying put in North London.
There has been a lot of talk about his future this summer, but at this moment in time, he’s still a Tottenham player and Manchester City are waiting in the wings.
In what could be a boost to Spurs, the Premier League champions are seemingly edging closer to landing the talents for Jack Grealish.
If the Aston Villa captain makes his move to the Etihad then he would be the most expensive signing in British transfer history for £100 million.
And perhaps, just perhaps, it means that those at the Etihad step back in their desire to sign Kane this summer.
