Tottenham may reportedly turn towards Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez if Harry Kane leaves this summer.
Kane, who’s got strong links with Manchester City, is such a vital part of the Spurs attack. The 28-year-old would leave a gigantic hole if he walked through the exits doors this summer.
However, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have a contingency option.
According to The Athletic, Serie A forward Martinez is someone Spurs have got in the back of their thoughts.
The report explains rivals Arsenal are exploring the opportunity to sign the 23-year-old striker and that the player would be open to moving to the Emirates Stadium if he’s allowed to leave.
Martinez is a £65million-rated ace who’s a league champion after helping Inter win Serie A last season.
The Argentine played a massive role in the success because he contributed 17 goals and 10 assists in the 38-game league season.

Lautaro Martinez would be immense Tottenham signing
Of course, Spurs fans would love if the Kane rumours died down and for him to stay in north London. However, it’s smart to have a potential replacement in mind.
Martinez has scored 40 goals combined during the last two seasons for Inter, so is someone recognised across Europe.
The dynamic forward already looks such a complete player at the age of 23 and he benefits massively from playing alongside Romelu Lukaku at the San Siro.
