Leeds United get their Premier League campaign underway on Saturday.
And Whites defender Pascal Struijk will surely fancy his chances of starting for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
The 22-year-old has been with Leeds since 2018, when he joined the Thorp Arch ranks from Ajax.

Struijk has progressed nicely over the years and finished last season very well.
The £9,000-a-week centre-back has enjoyed a superb pre-season too, earning plaudits for his displays against Blackburn and Villarreal.
Saturday will prove a big test for Leeds, as they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Leeds ace was “magnificent” in last meeting
Struijk’s last display against the Red Devils, back in April, was thoroughly impressive.

“He was magnificent, tackling, heading and passing it well, hassling defenders and earning a deserved clean sheet in as cool a performance as any put together by a Leeds defender all season,” wrote the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Last time Leeds took on Manchester United on their patch, they lost 6-2, but things have changed since then.
The Whites will be eager to hit the ground running and strike a blow against the Red Devils.
And Struijk is a great shout to make the starting XI and show just how far he’s come since last December.
