Leeds United fans have been raving about Pascal Struijk’s impressive display in Wednesday night’s pre-season friendly.
The Whites played out a 1-1 draw at Blackburn, with Struijk putting in a good performance and also grabbing the equaliser.
Leeds provided the first clear-cut chance of the game as Raphinha set up Mateusz Klich, whose chip was turned behind by Thomas Kaminski.

Illan Meslier then kept out a John Buckley effort at the other end, before Raphinha forced another solid save from the Rovers keeper.
Leeds kept up the pressure after the restart but the hosts would take the lead, Connor McBride’s deflected free kick wrong-footing Meslier.
However, Marcelo Bielsa’s charges fought back, Jack Harrison providing the delivery for Struijk to fire home via a deflection.
Admittedly, the 21-year-old did make a few loose passes, but nothing that can’t be ironed out before the start of the season.
