Italian journalist Enrico Camelio has told Calciomercato. It that Nicolo Zaniolo is set to leave Roma and already has an offer from England amid reports Liverpool and Tottenham want the attacking midfielder.
Zaniolo looks to have an ‘incredible‘ career ahead. The 22-year-old has bounced back brilliantly from two serious injuries. He has made 24 appearances in Serie A this season, scoring two and providing four assists.

Nevertheless, Jose Mourinho is ready to let him go. Previous reports claimed that the Giallorossi could let him go before his contract runs down. And Zaniolo is open to moving on.
Antonio Conte reportedly dreams of using the Italy international behind Harry Kane. Meanwhile, Liverpool have also put themselves in the race to sign the youngster.

And it seems that a Premier League move is currently looking most likely for Zaniolo this summer. Camelio suggested that he now has offers from England – though they do fall short of Roma’s £41.8 million valuation.
“Zaniolo’s journey here in Rome is over. To date he goes to England: Roma wants to sell him, he wants to leave. The valuation is around 50 million euros, but the offers have reached around 35 million. Roma wants more, of course, but for Zaniolo a proposal from England and a survey from Spain came,” he told Calciomercato.It.
Tottenham must act swiftly in Nicolo Zaniolo race after Liverpool snatched Luis Diaz from their grasp
Obviously, it is not clear who made the offer. It may be neither Tottenham or Liverpool. Zaniolo has the potential to be an amazing player. So they are unlikely to be his only admirers.
It could be a good opportunity for Tottenham. Conte’s men are now on pole position to finish fourth. And with that, they could be back in the Champions League next year.
Signing Zaniolo would be a statement. Conte is reportedly a huge admirer. And they have already had success when landing players from Serie A.
It may also alleviate some of the disappointment after they missed out on Luis Diaz. Tottenham’s bid led to Liverpool stepping up their interest.
Spurs ultimately signed Dejan Kulusevski, and that deal has proved to be a masterstroke. But Diaz looks to be an amazing buy.
Perhaps that will inspire Tottenham to try and soon wrap up a deal for Zaniolo this summer.
