Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid for Porto star Luis Diaz that could reach up to £46 million, and have told his club that they want a response in the next 48 hours, according to a report from SIC Noticias.
Diaz has established himself as one of the most exciting attacking players in Europe right now. The 25-year-old has scored 14 goals in 18 top-flight games. Meanwhile, he has also scored twice in the Champions League.

Previous reports have claimed that Liverpool have made a bid for the wide-man. But it would appear that Tottenham may perhaps be the most likely side to sign the Colombia international before the January transfer window closes.
SIC Noticias has reported that Spurs have now offered an initial £38 million for the winger. But the figure could move up to £46 million due to various add-ons included.

And it appears that they want a swift answer from Porto. The league leaders have been told they have 48 hours to decide whether to accept the bid from Tottenham.
Tottenham may win the transfer window with Luis Diaz deal
Football fans tend to hate the debate surrounding which team has won the transfer window, particularly if the period has been dull and few big names have moved.
However, there would surely be no question that Tottenham will have won the window should they manage to pull off a deal for Luis Diaz.
Of course, the fans will refuse to get carried away based off the initial reports. It would all seem too easy if they had indeed made the bid and subsequently seen it accepted.
However, it would be hugely exciting if Spurs had made a play for Diaz. And Antonio Conte’s men would certainly be contenders for the transfer window’s winners if they could bring him to North London.
