Tottenham Hotspur face an absolutely massive Champions League tie against Olympique Marseille this evening.

Antonio Conte’s side need just a point to confirm their place in the last 16.

Speaking to TalkSPORT, Jamie O’Hara has provided his prediction of the Tottenham result.

Spurs thought they had qualified for the knockout stages last week when Harry Kane scored in final moments against Sporting.

After an incredibly lengthy VAR check, the goal was eventually disallowed for offside.

The subsequent argument saw Antonio Conte sent off and he won’t be allowed on the touchline for tonight’s match.

Tottenham will be without three of their key players tonight through injury as well.

Dejan Kulusevski isn’t fit to feature, despite being seen doing a vigorous warm-up against Bournemouth.

Richarlison and Cristian Romero are both also unavailable with the latter being absent from training yesterday.

O’Hara predicts Tottenham result

Tottenham’s Champions League campaign started so brightly against Marseille at home.

Richarlison announced his arrival on Europe’s biggest stage with a fantastic headed brace.

Spurs have only picked up a single point on the road in the Champions League, and looked way too passive in both ties.

Finishing top of the group could be so important for Spurs, and a win tonight guarantees that outcome.

They’ll also finish in pole position if both matches end as a draw.

Tottenham have made a habit of starting games too slowly recently, and it’s becoming a worrying habit.

In O’Hara prediction of the Tottenham result, he even believes Marseille will go ahead.

However, he thinks Antonio Conte’s side will do enough to qualify with a 1-1 draw.

“This is a massive game and I don’t think we’re going to go there and roll them over,” O’Hara said.

“This is not going to be an easy game.

“We need a point to go through, I’d love us to top the group because I think that’s important.

“Our performances in first halves have just been an absolute shambles and I think it’s going to happen again.

“I think we’re going to go 1-0 down, and I think we’re going to draw the game and go through 1-1.”
