Pedro Porro started the match for Spurs. The £42 million star (The Daily Mail) was deployed at right-back. He provided an assist.

As you can see, Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven and winger Bryan Gil were impressed by the display produced by Porro.

The 24-year-old had one of his best matches for Tottenham this season.

The Spain international right-back found Cristian Romero with an early corner that almost resulted in a goal. He was involved in Tottenham’s second goal.

Porro also went close to scoring himself twice. It was a really brilliant display from the right-back who has improved a lot under Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou.

Deserved win for Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur have been losing games in recent weeks, and I believe that they deserved their win against Newcastle United.

Spurs kept true to their style and did not change it against Newcastle despite the very same brand of football costing them points in recent Premier League matches.

Tottenham are a very good side to watch at the moment and are good value for entertainment. I do not think that they will win the Premier League title, but the North London club are very much in the running for the top four.
