Tottenham Hotspur have been preparing for their important upcoming Champions League tie against Eintracht Frankfurt.
In an interview with Sky Italia, manager Antonio Conte has discussed a number of his new signings.
One of the players Conte highlighted was Croatian wing-back Ivan Perisic.
Perisic arrived on a free transfer from Conte’s former side Inter Milan in the summer.

He’s already started to show his worth at Tottenham, immediately being put on set pieces and playing on either wing.
However, he wasn’t fully fit when he first arrived, missing out on the starting line-up for Spurs’ first two league games.
Perisic arrived with a ‘serious calf problem’ and needed time to get up to speed.
Conte has now backed Perisic to get even better as the season goes on and his fitness improves.
Conte convinced Perisic will get better
Speaking to Sky Italia, Conte said: “Perisic arrived with a serious calf problem, he was recovering.
“He’s not what I know yet but he’s already given us a hand in terms of assists and personality, I’m sure he’ll give us even more.”
Perisic has certainly made an impressed on the squad behind-the-scenes.
A Football London report described Perisic as an ‘intense’ character, similar to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Perisic has had a very successful career, and will be hoping his mindset can rub off on some of his teammates.

He’s already got four assists in all competitions, including for Tottenham’s dramatic equaliser against Chelsea.
Perisic came off the bench in that match, and impressed fans by taking corners with both feet.
Conte has previously said that he thinks Perisic is one of the best players in the world in his position.
The Croatian suits Conte’s tactics perfectly as an attack-minded wide player with the work-rate to support the back-three.
It’s an exciting admission from Conte that he thinks Perisic is going to get even better in a Tottenham shirt.
