Antonio Conte has only been at Tottenham for four-and-half-months but he has constantly been linked with a move away, the latest being to PSG.

The Italian is one of the best in the business. He is a proven winner and the job he did at Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan speaks volumes about how incredible he is.

Tottenham have now gone 14 years without a trophy. Their aim every single season is to end that drought and there’s no better manager in football than Conte to help them achieve that goal.

However, for Spurs to win a trophy next season, Conte has to stay in charge, and that’s not a guarantee just yet.

Italian outlet CalcioMercato claimed earlier this week that Conte is a wanted man with French giants Paris Saint-Germain looking for a new boss.

Mauricio Pochettino getting knocked out of the Champions League last week has pushed him close to the sack. There’s a good chance that could happen soon and PSG have reportedly started talks with Conte about the job at the French capital.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright was quizzed about the rumours linking the Italian with the PSG job and he issued a three-word response.

“Wouldn’t surprise me,” Wright said on The Kelly and Wrighty Show yesterday.

Spurs fans won’t like us saying this, but it wouldn’t surprise us either.

Conte has done a good job at Tottenham and improvements in many areas are very clear to see. However, results haven’t gone his way on plenty of occasions, and that has irked him.

The Italian’s outburst after Spurs’ loss against Burnley showed everyone that he wanted to leave. He has since been dropping subtle hints about how he’ll have a chat with the board in the summer, which has given rise to further speculation.

If a job as big as the PSG one comes his way, it is very likely that he’ll leave Tottenham and move to Paris.
