Report says 'special' Tottenham player is 'extremely frustrated and in a lot of pain'
Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspur fans and Oliver Skipp himself are beyond frustrated with the young midfielder’s injury troubles.
The 21-year-old started the season in fantastic style. He was often one of Spurs’ best players and even Conte, who usually prefers experience over youth, has really been impressed with him.
When Skipp originally picked up the injury in January, Conte claimed that he should only be out for about a week. It has been close to two months now and there’s still no sign of him.
One can only imagine what the young midfielder must be going through behind the scenes.

Tottenham star Oliver Skipp is frustrated and in a lot of pain
According to a report from The Athletic, Skipp’s initial injury was viewed as a groin problem by Spurs’ medical staff.
He was given an injection to help him in his recovery and that, unfortunately, resulted in an infection in his pelvic area. That has been causing him a lot of problems and it hasn’t been easy for the doctors to treat him either.
The report claims that Skipp is ‘extremely frustrated’ and ‘in a lot of pain’ since his injury but the bad news for him is that there’s no fixed date earmarked for his return.
It has been said that all Skipp can do is wait patiently until the pain goes away.
It really is terrible to see Skipp in the position he’s currently in.
The 21-year-old, labelled as ‘special‘ by Fabio Paratici, is an immensely talented footballer. He has been absolutely incredible for Tottenham when he has played this season and he would’ve been perfect now if he was available.
Conte is asked about Skipp every time he faces the media these days and you can see the frustration in his face. It really is a shame, but neither the Italian nor Skipp can do anything but wait.
Tottenham fans will be hoping that it won’t be long before he’s back.
