The wing-back has been looking forward to today’s games and identified one player to watch.
That player happens to be Portuguese forward Rafael Leao, who’s been linked with a move to Spurs.
The AC Milan winger is at his first major international tournament and made an immediate impact against Ghana.
Coming off the bench, Leao scored within three minutes of entering the pitch.
Portugal looked comfortable at 3-1 up, but Leao’s goal ended up being the winner after a later Ghana fight back.

Doherty has been impressed with Leao, and expects the 23-year-old have an impact for Portugal again today.
Fernando Santos’s side play Uruguay this evening knowing a win secures their place in the knockout stages.
Given Portugal’s impressive array of attacking talent, Santos might find it difficult to fit Leao into the starting line-up.
However, Doherty’s confident he’ll make an impact at some point during the game.
Doherty impressed with Tottenham target Leao
The Irish defender was asked to name a player to watch for today’s World Cup matches.
“I don’t think he will start, but if he does start, a player to look out for is Portugal’s Rafael Leao,” Doherty said.
“He plays for AC Milan, a strong, direct winger, very fast. Hopefully he starts, if not, I’m sure he’ll come off the bench.
“He did that and scored against Ghana in the first game. He’s very good.”

Antonio Conte is keen to add an extra attacking option to his squad in January.
He can’t afford to not have a ready-made back-up to Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison if they get injured again.
Leao has delayed signing a new contract at AC Milan, which implies he could be open to a move.
He’s recently been linked with both Liverpool and Chelsea, and given his age and ability, AC Milan are likely to demand a huge fee.
However, if he did move to Spurs, Leao already has a fan in the squad in Doherty, who’s been impressed with him so far in Qatar.
