Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte could already be looking to January to see how he can improve his team.
Spurs fell to their first home defeat of the season at the weekend, losing 2-1 to a resurgent Newcastle side.
Conte was without two of his starting centre-backs, as Ben Davies and Cristian Romero missed the match due to injury.

Davinson Sanchez was slated for his performance, and this is one area Conte may want to strengthen.
Lewis believes that Tottenham want to sign Alessandro Bastoni, and he could join on one condition.
He believes that this all comes down to whether Antonio Conte signs a new deal in north London.
Conte’s current deal runs out this summer, although as Alasdair Gold points out, the club hold an option to extend his current contract.
Bastoni could sign for Tottenham
Speaking about Tottenham’s potential future moves in the market, Lewis believed it all hinged on Conte.
“If he commits other players commit, Kane commits, Bastoni will leave Inter Milan and I know he likes Bastoni – a huge imposing central defender who adds the leadership he needs in central defence,” Lewis said.
“He also needs a creative midfielder as well. These players come if they know you’re going to stay.
“Spurs have to persuade him to stay by giving him the finance and I think they will. I think he’ll stay.”
Bastoni was valued at £52m in the summer, and has already been described as a ‘superstar’.

The 23-year-old is certainly a very exciting defensive prospect, and already has 16 caps for Italy.
He’s already spoken about how much he admires Conte, and Bastoni could sign for Tottenham if the manager commits his future to the club.
A report last week suggested that Daniel Levy was prepared to offer Conte a new three-year deal.
Plenty is likely to be happening at Spurs during the World Cup, even if domestic football takes a break.
