Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has revealed that Fabio Vieira keeps saying the same four words in training because he doesn’t speak English yet.

The Gunners have had an impressive transfer window so far. Along with Jesus and Vieira, Mikel Arteta has brought in Marquinhos and Matt Turner as well, while Oleksandr Zinchenko is on the verge of joining the club.

The surprise signing of the lot, however, was Vieira.

Arsenal snapped up the Portuguese midfielder out of nowhere. Nobody really saw it coming until everything was agreed between the Gunners and Porto, and that apparently made many officials at the club laugh.

Jesus sat down for an interview on Podpah, and the Brazilian answered a number of questions. He spoke about his move to Arsenal, his teammates there and also his work ethic.

The funniest part of his interview, however, was when he started speaking about Vieira and how he’s adapting to life at Arsenal without speaking English.

Jesus said: “Fábio (Vieira) doesn’t speak English yet.

“So he keeps saying “so far, so good” all the time.”

Vieria was the second player to join Arsenal this summer after young Marquinhos, but he’s yet to play a part in the Gunners’ pre-season.

The Portuguese midfielder has been struggling with an injury, but pictures showed that he has returned to training now, and there’s now a small chance that he’ll make his debut against Chelsea on Sunday.

Vieira could prove to be a brilliant signing for Arsenal. He’s excellent on the ball, has fantastic vision and is hugely versatile. He can play on both wings, as a number eight, in attacking midfield and also as a false-nine.

He is unlikely to be a regular starter for Arsenal in the Premier League this season, but he certainly has the potential to become a huge player for the club in the coming years.
