Feyenoord are reportedly making a late move to sign Tottenham playmaker Bryan Gil on loan.

The Dutch giants have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old winger for the majority of the January transfer window, with Gil also attracting interest from the likes of Lazio and Brighton & Hove Albion.

With a few hours remaining in the window, Gil’s future still remains up in the air, with Tottenham eager to offload the Spanish youngster for good despite a lack of offers.

And according to 1908.nl, Feyenoord could make a last-minute attempt to sign Gil for the remainder of the season, with the Eredivise side eager to add some creativity to their attacking ranks.

Indeed, with Gil seemingly not a part of Tottenham’s long-term plans, another loan move could be ideal for the Spanish youngster this deadline day.

And a move to the Netherlands could also be ideal, with the Dutch top-flight a division that could suit Gil’s style of play to a tee if Feyenoord can complete a deal for the winger.

Gil’s future is clearly away from Tottenham having failed to make much of an impact with the north London side since joining in 2021.

It’s now time for the winger to make a big decision for himself, and joining Feyenoord on loan could be just that for Gil in the final hours of the January transfer window.

At 22, the playmaker has a lot left to learn and more growing to do if he is to become the player many expect Gil one day to become.

And Feyenoord could be the club that gets the best out of the former Sevilla wonderkid, with Gil in need of a completely new environment to return to his best on the pitch.
