‘Extraordinary’ 23-year-old Arsenal star joining Champions League club in January not impossible

AC Milan signing Jakub Kiwior during the January transfer window on loan from Arsenal is deemed to be difficult, but not impossible.

That is according to a report from Calciomercato, which notes that the Rossoneri are not going to be able to land Lloyd Kelly with Bournemouth not willing to let him go in the winter.

Jakub Kiwior has been more of a peripheral figure during his time at the Emirates. He has, so far, only managed to make a handful of appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League so far this season.

AC Milan signing Jakub Kiwior difficult, but not impossible

Kiwior struggled when he came in towards the latter stages of the last campaign. But he has been in the match day squad for every single game in the Premier League so far this term.

Calciomercato recently reported that AC Milan plan to try and discuss a potential deal for Kiwior in January. However, Arsenal have previously snubbed their interest in the Poland international.

And Calciomercato‘s latest report suggests that the Gunners’ stance is looking unlikely to change. But they do suggest that a move is not thought to be impossible.

Arsenal have little reason to consider loan move

There seems to be little incentive for Arsenal to consider loaning Kiwior out unless the Rossoneri are prepared to commit to paying a hefty sum further down the line.

Arsenal are going for the title again this year. And they suffered last season when some of their key players picked up injuries or did become jaded.

Losing a centre-back would be a massive blow for the Gunners. And thus, loaning Kiwior out would be a potential gamble.

He is yet to really get going at the Emirates. However, Kiwior is a player Robert Lewandowski has described as ‘extraordinary‘ in the past.

So Arsenal may not want to take the risk of letting the youngster leave on loan midway through the campaign.
