A number of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror concerning the Magpies’ interest in Boubacar Kamara.
Kamara looks set to be on the move this summer. As noted by the Mirror, Marseille are prepared to sell the 21-year-old for £15 million.

His contract expires next year. And the Ligue 1 outfit are looking to boost their finances.
The Mirror notes that Liverpool and Manchester City have both monitored Kamara. However, it is suggested that neither has acted upon their interest.

And that appears to have inspired Newcastle to act. It is claimed that the Magpies believe that Kamara could command a much larger fee should he impress in the Premier League.
‘Won’t happen’: Newcastle fans react to Boubacar Kamara reports
There has been a fairly mixed reaction on social media to the reports. But the large majority of Newcastle fans believe that there is no chance of the Magpies signing Kamara.
Newcastle are reportedly unwilling to pay the £4 million required to sign Mario Lemina due to the 27-year-old’s age.
So you can understand why the Magpies fans may have their doubts about the likelihood of the club paying £15 million for a player potentially available on a free next year.
But for many, he would be an outstanding signing for the club in this window. And so, they are desperately hoping that there is something in the reports.
