'Doing great': Harry Kane names the Tottenham Hotspur player who's seriously impressing him in training right now

Tottenham Hotspur have had a very successful start to their Premier League campaign.

Antonio Conte’s side remain unbeaten, and won their third home game in a row on Saturday.

Spurs top scorer Harry Kane spoke to Capital Football after the match on a number of topics.

The 29-year-old scored his fifth goal of the season that ended up being the winner in their 2-1 victory.

A new player joined Kane and Son Heung-min in Tottenham’s front three against Fulham.

Richarlison replaced Dejan Kulusevski in the starting line-up and had a fantastic match.

Alan Shearer said he was ‘superb all game’, while teammate Clement Lenglet thought he was unlucky not to score.

Harry Kane has also been singing his praises, saying he’s been impressed with the Brazilian in every training session.

Kane impressed with Richarlison in training

The English striker said: “He’s been doing great every time he came off the bench.

“He was ready once he started [a game] to make a real impact, and from start to finish he was fighting for every ball, making good runs and getting chances.

“He was unlucky not to score with his [goal disallowed for] offside, and one off the post.

”He’s got that mindset where every tackle and every training session, he just wants to play football and impress the manager.

“He’s been a great addition to the team.”

Tottenham start their Champions League campaign this week at home to Marseille.

With matches coming thick and fast, Conte will have to rely on his whole squad to cope.

Richarlison has shown he can come in and allow Conte to rest Kane, Son and Kulusevski.

The Brazilian’s strong start means Conte will have less to worry about if something happens to one of his regular front three.

Kane has clearly been impressed by what he’s seen from Richarlison in training.

If the 25-year-old continues to apply himself off the pitch like his, he will be very hard to drop.
