Tottenham Hotspur defender Clement Lenglet has told the club’s official website that Richarlison was ‘amazing’ but really unlucky against Fulham yesterday.
Spurs maintained their unbeaten start to the Premier League season as they beat Marco Silva’s men 2-1 at home.
Richarlison and Lenglet were both handed their first starts by boss Antonio Conte.
And the pair impressed in what was arguably Spurs’ best display of the season since the opening day.
Richarlison had an effort ruled out after he thought he had bagged his first goal for the North London club.
Conte’s men were sitting comfortably in the 81st minute after goals from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Kane.
Richarlison hit the post with an excellent effort, but Fulham went straight up the other end of the pitch and got back into the game after a fantastic finish by Aleksandar Mitrovic.
And Lenglet says the 25-year-old was very unlucky not to have scored after a brilliant display.

Lenglet says Richarlison was really unlucky
“Yeah, unlucky because he [Richarlison] didn’t score but his game is very, very good,” he told Spurs Play.
“He put the defenders in difficulty, he had a lot of chances. He helped us a lot during the different moments so he was amazing today.”
Richarlison has made a real impression since making the switch from Everton this summer.
The Brazilian has put in some promising displays from the bench and certainly took his opportunity yesterday.
The former Toffees man caused Fulham problems all afternoon and his performance was only lacking a goal.

Lenglet and Richarlison are still very new to the Tottenham squad but would have certainly done themselves no harm after great performances yesterday.
Conte’s men looked much more composed playing out from defence with the French international and Cristian Romero in the backline.
Spurs have a big week coming up as they kick-off their Champions League campaign on Wednesday and travel to Manchester City on Saturday.
Both Lenglet and Richarlison will be hoping their displays will have earned them another start next week.
