The two pundits highlighted the lack of transfer activity at the King Power Stadium, with several high-profile outgoings being widely reported, including two players linked with moves to St. James’ Park.
Brazil said: “The other one that worries me is Leicester. (Wesley) Fofana looks as if he could be going, and Newcastle have gone back in for (James) Maddison.
“Especially if I’m reading between the lines, Fofana is the one he (Rodgers) definitely wants to keep, he doesn’t want them leaving.
“He’s already hinted (Kasper) Schmeichel might not be there, and that would be a disaster for Leicester if they lost three players like that.”
Wesley Fofana has been linked with a move to Chelsea, as they seek to replace Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

The young Frenchman suffered a broken leg last year in pre-season, and only returned to action in March, but is highly regarded as one of the best young centre-backs in the world.
James Maddison has already been subject to two bids from Newcastle United, which have reportedly been rejected, but speculation will continue to mount as Tottenham are also supposed to be keen on the midfielder.
Newcastle’s transfer activity could cause disaster at Leicester
McCoist agreed with Brazil’s assessment that Brendan Rodgers needs more support from the club in order to succeed: “It looks as though there’s been a total lack of investment. We spoke about Everton under Frank (Lampard), it’s the same with Brendan (Rodgers) at Leicester, I think these guys need help.
“Brendan has done a brilliant job there, but now is the time when they need a little bit of help.
“If you’re a Leicester fan, you’re a little bit concerned at the lack of investment.”

Newcastle are also interested in winger Harvey Barnes, and if they manage to do a deal for him and Maddison, it could definitely spell disaster for Rodgers’ side.
Leicester are the only Premier League side yet to add to their squad this summer, and if any of Rodgers’ key players do leave, they’re going to have to recruit to avoid falling down the table.
Along with Fofana, Maddison, Barnes and Schmeichel, Youri Tielemans has also been linked with leaving Leicester, as has young winger Harvey Barnes and defender Jannik Vestergaard.
Leicester will surely be one of the sides who Newcastle are trying to catch this season, as Eddie Howe’s side battle to surge up the table.
And if they are to take the likes of Maddison and Barnes away from the King Power Stadium then it would surely only increase Newcastle’s chances of doing so.
