Manchester United take on Chelsea in a huge Premier League showdown on Saturday evening, and Ruben Amorim is in desperate need of a result.
It’s been a nightmare start to the season for Man United, who have won just one of their first four top-flight matches and were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Grimsby Town.
Amorim has received the backing of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his players, with Harry Maguire saying United’s squad is the issue, but their patience is in danger of snapping sooner rather than later.
However, one pundit has predicted that Chelsea will pile more misery onto the Red Devils at Old Trafford, and has picked out the player he thinks will single-handedly run the show.

Chris Sutton says Cole Palmer will shine vs Manchester United
Writing in his usual BBC Sport column, Chris Sutton tipped the Blues to win 2-1.
“Where United are fortunate is that they have had a week off since losing the derby, while Chelsea were beaten by Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday,” Sutton said.
“It is a massive plus for United that they don’t have European football. You can’t moan about having less games – that should give them the physical advantage here.
“Even so, how can you put together a case for United winning this game? I just can’t.
“Chelsea are not the finished article either, but they are playing some good stuff. They have also got Cole Palmer firing again, and he will make the difference.”
Indeed, Palmer does look to have returned to his razor-sharp best in the nick of time.

Will Cole Palmer play against Manchester United?
The forward was superb in the 3-1 defeat against Bayern Munich in mid-week, scoring a goal and seeing another ruled out for a very narrow offside.
But after playing the full 90 minutes, he was spotted hunched over and holding his inner leg, clearly in some discomfort, before the final whistle sounded.
That raised concerns Palmer would miss the showdown against Man United, although Enzo Maresca believes his issue was not too serious.
“Cole, I think he’s okay,” said Maresca. “I asked him after the game, he said that he’s okay.”
